Thank you for this joy! Wrapping my arms around a giant ball of hope and love for tomorrow. I believe that what is good and what is right will prevail. Without hope, I have no joy.
Thank you, Jane. I have read your substack since, I think, the beginning, and decided it's time to share my enjoyment of it with you. Particularly today, joy is necessary!
What brings me joy? Remembering my personal ancient matrix of animals, art, and healing. Also we are welcoming our fourth fawn sable pup to the family dog pack, Tommy, from the Substack litter.
Substack and great progress towards my goals is bringing me joy this week! also, Jane, do you mind sharing how you got your links in your posts to be pink? I use a similar pink on my page but havent figured out how to get the links to color pop that way, it looks nice 💗
Oh, that's wonderful, Sophia!! You highlight them and then click on the link icon in the toolbar. I tried to attach a screenshot of it, but it won't let me! It automatically turns your link what color you've selected for your newsletter! ❤️
Actually, fyi it didn’t work until I went into settings for my publication theme and changed to ‘color links’, which I didn’t see as a setting when I had first set my color theme!
Warm vanilla pudding triggered childhood memories of warm tapioca pudding. Yum! The cook and serve kind that came in a box like Jell-O. I wonder if they still make it.
They do! Walmart, Amazon...And as it cools, it solidifies on top. Just a thin layer. It sounds crazy, but I loved it! I'll check my local grocery store/Walmart this weekend. :-)
Oh how delightful! I need this, Jane. And, of course, my cat also brings me so much joy!
Cats are everything! ❤️
That Ross Gay quote made me instantly relax. Thank you for nurturing us, Jane. Sending every finger crossed for tomorrow 💞
I know! He's kind of just a deeply relaxing human!! Everything crossed, as well! We can do this! ❤️
Sending good thoughts and hope for tomorrow from Canada.
Thank you, Lisa! ❤️

Much needed today! Thank you!

I think my dog's a Republican. She doesn't care about other dogs. They're on their own : )

Yummy! I’m not sure. Worth investigating!

It doesn't sound crazy at all. Those childhood foods are everything! So happy you found it!! 🌸
Thanks for these lovely ideas. I'm taking lots of walks and not going too deep into the news. The vanilla pudding also sounds pretty good.
Sounds like a good plan, Gina! 🌸
